Back Road Customs was started in late 2004 because I like American v-twins and wanted to be more involved in this wonderful industry. 

The idea was to supply high quality custom parts to anyone that wants them at the most affordable price I can. 

I also wanted to offer complete custom builds using the finest parts and with high quality workmanship and customer service, or help people to design and build their own bikes. 

A bit of background:

I bought my first bike when I was 14 and was able to purchase my first Harley in 1972.  I got my aircraft mechanics licenses in 1970.  I have maintained and built airplanes, helicopters, cars, motorcycles and boats all of my life.  I have been a commercial helicopter and airplane pilot. My wife and I owned operated our own helicopter company for 20 years. My 37 years of building and rebuilding airplanes has taught me the importance of close tolerance high quality workmanship.

Back Road Customs is now a dealer for some of the finest parts manufacturers and distributors along with having a growing line of our own fine custom parts.
